Portfolio

These are just some of the many many projects I have completed. There are so many “lost photos” and  it is taking me some time to post what I do have. More will be posted soon but I believe this represents my style(s)  and my technique accurately .

My design approach towards decorative painting is to find a classic and timeless framework, from which all other design considerations  flourish. I enjoy varying my styles from traditional to modern.
I am extremely attentive to my client’s style and taste. Clients have included Tricia Nixon-Cox, Lorraine Bracco and Robert Denning.

This is a ceiling mural “in progress” in a very large living room, that wanted to be glass, but became paint instead.
This is a very unusual  damask pattern that is very floral and open and is placed more as a stripe than as an overall pattern. It is applied over a green glaze and is with gold metallics. The picture does not do it justice. (click for a better view)
This is a hand designed and cut stencil on top of red velvet toweled walls. The “dishes” are decoupage.
These are faux grass cloth textured walls for a soothing spa like space.
This is a polished venetian plaster on a center hall
This is  higher up in the hall of the venetian plaster in the center hall. We built our own scaffold for this site.
This is a custom designed stencil applied as a “modello” in gold and champagnes. It has been applied over a glazed ceiling and ties in with a fabric that is in use in this stunning bedroom
This is a a polished venetian plaster in a powder room.
A custom designed and hand painted tree. A real size drawing of this tree can be purchased from blue sea designs for home use. See the products page
Horizontal stripes in varying widths and color, The tiny metallic stripe gives a hint of sophistication to a very tailored look
A custom designed (gracie style) mural. We followed a traditional approach by first applying blocks of rectangular paper, and then glazed the room for a true parchment feel. The room was designed to work with my clients specific requests and is more than they ever thought it would be.

This is a small section of a 3 floor spiral staircase where an underwater scene seaweed and fish mural was hand painted
This is a detail from a painted mural of an underwater scene.
This is a very fun oversize white “paisley” pattern on pink walls for a bathroom that needed a modern and fun appeal for kids while at the same time, fitting  in with a home that was very  sophisticated.
A hand painted faux wood inlay table done for Robert Denning of New York, and Paris. A french polish was eventually applied to the faux work, and the result on all accounts was stunning.
